We are the nation's largest housing program for victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Refuge for Women offers up to twelve months of safe housing, at no charge to the resident, with around-the-clock care as residents progress through evidence-based, trauma-informed programming.
The Walter Hoving Home is a residential spiritually-based home. We are a non-profit organization serving women ages 18 and over who have been involved in drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution and other life-controlling problems. The 12 month program is geared to rebuilding broken lives in an atmosphere of warmth, trust, support and love.
Over the Home’s 47-year history, a program has been developed which completely transforms the lives of the women who come to us from many different walks of life – many directly from prison or off the street.
The primary vehicle for transformation is the Learning Center’s curriculum, comprised of courses designed to help each student acquire a knowledge of life-changing principles. Included are such topics as The Winning Attitude, The Curing Power of Love, Healing for Damaged Emotions, Handling Conflicts, How to Win Over Depression, Principles for Decision Making and Goal Setting. We also offer an Anger Management Class and a Parenting Class.

Courage Houses provide rescue and restoration to child victims of sex trafficking while helping them see their value and discover their purpose.
Courage House isn’t just a house; it is a home. A safe, loving environment for children who have been rescued from sex trafficking. Courage House is a place where hope is given, healing is offered, and children’s lives are restored. Our facilities and programs are intentionally designed to provide a long-term home for girls who have been victims of commercial sexual exploitation, as opposed to an opportunity to graduate from a program. Statistics show the majority of the young women who are victims of this crime do not have safe homes and loving families to return to. Our Courage Houses offer a long-term solution and a unique life plan (ULP) for each girl that brings healing to her body, mind, spirit, and emotions: The Unique Life Plan
